I cannot seem to get my resizing bars to work on any skin that I create or download.  I am using XP and have tried to apply a resizing bar using Proffesional 6, and Professional.  I cannot change taskbar to double hieght for instance.  I can only do so if I load the XP UI.

The taskbar is not locked either.  I tried changing the image to a bmp also and no change.

Is there a location to activate or deactivate the resizing bar?

I have been trying to add substyles to a skin Ive been working on. Each skin has a different colors for fonts and highlights. I created three different sets of buttons for each style but heres the problem.

The Start button, horizontal arrow on the taskbar, Moreprograms arrow, List Header text, Shell Style Up and Down arrows, Logoff dialog buttons, and Shutdown dialog buttons will not change when applying substyles.

Heres what I tried so far.
I made sure all three versions of each graphic were very unique hoping that similar file names might confuse the program.

Whats happening is that when I assign the above buttons for any substyle or the root skin, it changes all three skins. Even though each substyle still shows the proper buttons for that particular sub, windowblinds does not apply them.

I found this at http://www.tweakxp.com/tweak66.aspx Tweakxp under windowblinds.

"Windows Blinds XP has been integrated into the Windows XP operating system. Microsoft and Stardock have entered into a partnership in which Microsoft will use their technology in the Windows XP operating system. With Windows Blinds XP installed you have additional styles to choose from in display properties."

Thats great

I have a new laptop coming with a wide screen. Resolution is 1440x900. NE1 know how windowblinds will react? Desktop X might be a problem because it seems to be resolution specific.

I've been using Firefox for a few months and have been very happy with UI. I just got Opera and its very fast. lots of little things to adjust for my liking, I like that. You can customize just about everything.

MS need to remember that everybody doesnt want the exact same thing as everyone else.

NE1 else using Opera or Firefox?

Any tips?
